VCU's Latine Alumni Council is seeking more alumni to get involved. What brings out your passion for VCU? Is it basketball? The arts? Career networking? Are you great with social media? Do you enjoy planning events? Whatever you're passionate about, for just 2-3 hours a month, we'd love to have you join us!

What is the Latine Alumni Council? 

VCU Alumni’s Latine Alumni Council builds community, creates opportunities and offers support to VCU Latino alumni around the world.

Do I have to be a member?

You already are! All VCU graduates can participate and there are no annual dues! Friends and family members are also encouraged to enjoy events. 

Example of ways volunteers can help the chapter: 

Organize and execute events in the area.  Engage alumni on social media by posting to the Latine Alumni Council Facebook page (uploading photos, creating reels and events, etc.) Spread the word to other alumni and friends about upcoming events and initiatives.  Hold regular meetings with other committee members to strategically plan throughout the year. Be a VCU Spokesperson: Representing VCU and our mission to alumni in the area. Identify local alumni: Identify area alumni to be cultivated as alumni volunteers and event attendees. Serve as volunteer contact person for alumni who are receiving special publicity through local media and notify VCU. Identify your areas of strength to serve or lead a subcommittee. Serve as a conduit of information updates for lost and/or moving alumni.
